Dustin Warbear is a Hip-Hop Artist from Merrill, Wisconsin. His music career started as a metal artist playing for Wisconsin bands such as ‘Buried As Kings,’ ‘Teenagers,’ ‘Defeatism,’ and more. During the pandemic, gathering for practice with his bandmates was difficult, so Warbear decided to pursue his passion for Rap. His inspirations range from artists like Tech N9ne, King Iso, Chris Webby, Eminem, and Rittz. He started by doing online competitions and remixes to chart-topping hits like The Kid Laroi’s “Not Sober” and some of Futuristic’s “Open Verse Challenges.”

Warbear found his first show in Minnesota, opening for Taebo Tha Truth during the ‘Take It Personal’ Tour alongside fellow Wisconsin HipHop artist Ace Wild. Warbear started his Bearcave Studios business to bring more local music to Wisconsin. He does this by setting up and providing live sound for concerts and by offering recording, mixing, and mastering services in his studio. Since founding Bearcave Studios, he has taken the local concert scene to new heights, branching throughout the state to multiple venues. In 2023, he toured with Otis Julius and DJ Strawstone on the ‘Totally Rad 90’s’ Tour and has opened for Strange Music’s very own King Iso at the Annex in Madison.

Warbear was voted 2022’s Artist of the Year during our Wisconsin Icon Awards. He has had honorable mentions from national competitions hosted by Futuristic, Nice Enough Entertainment, and more, using his quick delivery, impressive lyricism, and adaptability. He demonstrates his versatility with various songs ranging from his fast-paced ‘R.A.P. Remix’ to his slower-flowing ‘Judge Me.’ Warbear drops new music almost every Friday and sometimes multiple pieces on the same day. You can find him on all platforms under “Dustin Warbear” or @dustinwarbear.
