“Fresh Start” is an album to play at 2 AM when you’re restless, you feel your demons coming to the surface, but you want to fight them tonight. Ace Wild talks about many of his unique and relatable past life events that brought him to the artist he is today, from bad manager deals to heartbreak/betrayal, as well as more pressing issues from Drug-Influenced Rap to realizing the need for a “Fresh Start” in life. This project highlights the talent that Ace holds with his storytelling, not only through a single song, through the album as a whole. Most songs on the project have a message behind the lyrics, what varies is the tone of the instrumental. Some songs are on the darker side such as “Reapers” and “12 Heads”, while there are some that have a bouncier beat like “Weight of the World” and “Just Business”.
