Love Renessiance 1437 - Philly?

Peeking into the mind of any artist can be an eye-opening and exciting experience, and Philly is no exception to this! “Love Renaissance 1437” is where we get to hear inside Philly’s mind. We start with his world and religious views in “Riviera Dreams” and “Ill Mind of Philly?”. He also talks about love and toxic relationships in “Hypnotize Me” and “Addicted2U”. This, along with his religious epiphany on the title track, is why “1437” is in the album title. There is a wide range of styles and influences in this hour-long project. One primary influence is Kanye West, as Philly mentioned him on “Abuse,” and the beat used on “Deadbeat” reminded me of a Kanye West style production. “Where the Angels Fly,” “Dancin in the Moonlight,” and “Abuse” are tracks that will have you coming back to this project. There is a lot to unpack with this album as it shows what is important to Philly and who he is as a person. Message Philly on social media to tell him your thoughts on “Love Renaissance 1437”!

[YSK: “1437” is a cyber term that means “I Love You Forever”]
