Most of us can agree that the beginning of any relationship is the best part. The heart fluttering, thoughts of them all day and night, and getting to learn about someone new—the sweet spot between when they walked into your life and deep into a commitment. Big Savo captures the time frame perfectly on his “Sweet Love” EP. “Vibez” is that first interaction with someone where the body language is a match, the word choice is on point, and the energy is all the same when hanging out together. Usually, in this stage, things are said like “love is forever” or that love is “stronger than mob ties.” “Lover Mob Ties” expresses the commitment showing that no matter how hard it gets, nothing will split you two up. “Heart Space” goes into the scars left from past relationships. Women try to gain access to Savo’s heart but see the damage others have left. They try to make him face it, so Savo doesn’t just run from the past. We close out the EP with the title track, “Sweet Love.” The honeymoon stage turns to reality. Now the struggle of spending time together and working to advance Savo’s dreams comes to light.
