KCS Jay: “19” Album

Written by BVNC | September 22nd, 2022 | Released June 25th, 2022

Pull-up, roll-up, and vibe-out with KCS Jay for his ’19’th Birthday. “19” sonically sets up the night for celebrating another lap around the Sun. Throughout this project, he gifts us an album full of trap beats with heavy bass for us bass heads and his melodic style to pull everyone into his party. The autotune is tuned to complement, not distract, KCS Jay rapping about where he sees himself in future years. You can hear some of his goals in the songs “Rich Before I Die,” and “No Favors.” Being successful while stacking paper is on the ambitious mind of KCS Jay, along with all the foreign cars and expensive purchases that follow like a “Louis Bag.” He flexes his impact through his short career so far and his rise to the top. He does a good remix of “Am I Wrong” by Nico and Vinz on the track with the same name. He is so confident in his impact that he challenges the listener to tell him if anything he said was wrong. On his track “No Safety,” he sees the problem most people find in life: we never have enough time to do everything we want, and it’s better not to waste a minute. The album has a few features from Prolific Worth, LocallyCopped, Bully Danny, and King Bone. One of my favorites on the project was “Forever,” where both KCS Jay and Bully Danny play with their flows well on the track. Sometimes the best gift for an artist, for any occasion, could be to listen to their work and tell them what you think of it. Message KCS Jay on social media and tell him what you thought about “19.”
